  1. Hi, welcome aboard! I sent my contact information to your message box If you can tell us a little bit more about what you have going on exactly I can more effectively troubleshoot how to help repair it Removing the top cover and taking a few pictures, help a lot as well Does your back light come on? Does any of your LEDs work at all? Does the screen look discolored? Possibly have water damage internally? These few things will help narrow it down -AKATV
  2. Glad to see you made it over here, welcome to the forum! Seeing how these will run without a meter even plugged up to the machine, the mystery deepens If this was a Honda dealership and they broke your meter plug because they did not know how to get it apart, that alone speaks volumes about their service and technical proficiency. I would be hitting them up for the cost of a replacement plug and or meter or see what they are willing to do I can repair it for you anyways, but it wont impede function the way it is, you just need need to keep it waterproof for now As far as you ATV issues at this point we need to confirm, that you have spark, fuel, and compression Other members will be along to help soon as well -AKATV
  3. Thank you for trying, shadetree I just cut the end off the muffler and spent the day creating some baffles out of sheet metal and just got it all put back together works great Welding is functional, not too good to look at “A grinder and paint makes me the welder I ain’t” -AKATV
  4. Thanks shade I have asked around, I was just gonna gut this one and rebuild it, but the endcap is pretty smashed Let me know either way and if it’s not cost-effective to ship, I’ll see if I can find one up here -AKATV
  5. Looking for a muffler for an older Foreman 400 Let me know what you have and what you want for it -AKATV
  6. Somewhat active, I guess…. lol I don’t do too much on the Rincon 680s but send a picture and a few historical details about what happened Usually when you see LED lights and no display I usually find it they have water damages inside Let me know what you find -AKATV
  7. No it isnt - its a 1 with some dirt LOL Zoom in Give it another wipe with WD40 etc, maybe the water spots will come off
  8. The 10th digit of the VIN is a 1, meaning 2001 Why were we originally thinking it was 1996? -AKATV
  9. Welcome to the forum cdyoder! Yep, concur 100% with what Jeep said above- My 2 cents is that it is/was probably full of water with that top cover being broken and corroded. I bet if you open it up it most likely looks like something that came off the Titanic, from water damages. Take the screws out of the backplate and pop the cover off and post a picture of what it looks like inside. I can source you parts to get you fixed up, if you are interested I will send my direct contact information to your message box -AKATV
  10. Welcome to the forum! 12. Welcome to the forum DJS, Sounds like you have dropped or corrupted programming on your meter Post a picture or two if you can, and I will send my contact information to your message box -AKATV
  13. Usually with your model (02 and up with selectable 2WD/4WD) ,if there is a 4x4 fault, the 4WD light will flash a few times as a code, indicating a fault area usually, it flashes 2 to 6 times Is it flashing at all?
  14. Welcome to the forum! Thanks for posting pictures. It really helps to see what you have going on. Looks like you might have an extremely sun damaged LCD, but I can repair that if you need it The part that concerns me is there looks like a little bit of condensation residue inside the meter You might wanna pop that top cover off and make sure you don’t have water damages because that usually destroys the circuit card to the point of no repair The top cover looks pretty good though, so you might not have any water in there at all just want to make sure I will send my contact information to your message box right now -AKATV
  15. Thanks for the pictures, it really does help a lot. Your fading is just standard aging and UV/Sun damage to the polarization films over 20+ years. It can be repaired though, and I have sent my contact information to your message box if you would like to look into a repair. -AKATV .
