Happy Independence Day holiday Ted; having my coffee before i go fishing on my lil Hobie Float Cat. 🥳🎣 This thing twenty years old i enjoy it more every time—gets heavier every year tho😮 Caught a bunch of bass yesterday but no trophy; caught a big bluegill I’m sure weighed at least a pound.

depends on how big of camper you pulled ?, i got 3:73 gears in my silverado, pulling my 18ft camper, i get about 10-11 mpg if i keep my foot out of it..lol

i have owned my craftsman 42 inch cut, 17.5 hp ridding mower sense 1996, i know for a fact how the solenoid works. there is a ton of mis-info on the net how these work. one says it prevents blow back from turning off the engine on high rpm's, which explain why they say to idle the engine down first before turning the engine off. i have also read/watched other video's explaining how these prevent fuel from filing the float bowl up, and fuel not reaching the main jet. this is NOT a valve adjustment issue, i say this, because i have yet adjusted my valves on my mower from the day i bought it in 1996 ( although they should be checked/adjusted ?!..lol ), i can run my mower for over an hour at full speed, shut it down, and it will crank right back up. my money say's replace the part under the carb. MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL AN INLINE FUEL CUT-OFF VALVE ON THE FUEL LINE IF IT DOES NOT HAVE ONE ?. P.S. you can test MY theory by unplugging it, try cranking it to start it, i bet it wont start at all ?, i have tried this on mine, if unplugged ?, it will not start and run, once i plug it back end, turn the key on, i watch the plunger open, this opens the fuel to reach the main jet.

i mentioned both of those, and she claims she was treeted with ivermectin, but they stopped (why i don't know) AND, whether this is true or not, i don't know, but claims never have been treeted with hydroxychloroquine, she's on so many meds now, i have no clue if they would chance giving her the 1st one again, OR even think of the second one, personally i think years and years of taking meds have taking a tole.

When I sold my 02 rancher I gave the guy a brand new unopened shindy carb kit for it. I told him in the future if it ever gives you any trouble to use the shindy kit. He said he’d just buy one of those cheap (China) carbs. I said you can do what you want but you’ll probably never get one that’s right. Use the shindy kit. It’s not much work and I’m giving it to you.

No one can give a no doubt answer to what and where we go after it is all over here , you just have to live life to the fullest and be righteous along the way , cause St Peter might very well be there at the Pearly Gates with the book of all your doing and judge you by them !! Reminds me of a joke : Three guys got killed in a truck wreck on the way to go fishing , while meeting with St Peter , he told them that Heaven was a big place and every one was awarded transportation by the way they treated people on Earth , so he asked the first guy , How many times did you cheat on your wife , the guy says not once , he looked at the book and said that is true , I have a 2021 Bronco Outlander fully loaded for you , he asked the second guy and he said maybe twice , he told him after looking to the book that is was really 4 times , he was awarded a 1987 Chevy , runs good , radio but no A/C , the last guy said I am not going to lie , it was a lot maybe a hundred times , after looking at the book St Peter said it was 215 times , he said I seen worst , I have a 64 VW , no radio , no A/C --- so a week goes by and the three meet up and start shooting the bull , two of them are happy and loving Heaven , they ask the third guy why is he so depressed , they say you got the best truck up here , he says , I just seen my wife she is on roller skates and missing one wheel

Late last week an 05-06 500 popped up about 2 hours away. Kid had it listed at $1650 OBO. Way too high, but said he was negotiable. I was second in line, first guy bought it. Then yesterday I see it relisted as a part out. Had a straight front bumper and racks, and good green fenders with no snorkel holes. I call the guy and ask about quite a few parts (fenders, bumper, knuckles, CV's, front rack, 12" OEM wheels) and he says "Want to buy the whole thing? $1K" I headed out to get it, and realize that the FB location that was listed was not the address the guy sent, so I went from 75ish min drive, to a 130 min drive. Was 20 mins from the house before I realized that, so I pushed on. Got there, and was in a hurry (I know, I know, stupid) as I was supposed to be home and cleaned up to go to dinner with the family at 5:30, so I have it a quick glance, and rolled it on the trailer. This morning I gave it a better look. Hacked up wiring harness, but worse, the right upper a-arm mount has some bubba welding job on it. Guess this one will be a parts bike. I certainly won't try to build one on a frame that looks like this. That's one of those "did I really just drive two hours each way and then overpay for THAT?" Oh well, win some, lose some.

Most people that own Class A motorhomes go with the Diesel Pusher.Gas Engines are used more with Class C motorhomes.
  13. 1 point
yeah, they are not cheap. you can find them all over ebay cheap. you can cut the tip off the one on there now, just be sure to have an inline cut-off on the fuel line from gas tank. try one from ebay before you go cutting any tips off though.

I have a similar harbor freight electric splitter. I put it on a stand and control it with a foot switch instead of the finger switch (the finger switch was momentary and I replaced it with an on/off switch). This is the foot switch I use: https://www.harborfreight.com/momentary-power-foot-switch-96619.html?ccdenc=eyJjb2RlIjoiMjE0ODk4OTQiLCJza3UiOiI5NjYxOSIsImlzIjoiMTIuNTkxMDAwMDAwMDAwMDAxIn0%3D&cid=paid_google|||96619&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=&utm_content=&gclid=CjwKCAjwuIWHBhBDEiwACXQYsUDn4Eg1L8wrW_musC4bF_E7lEEzqx92iJ9k8vnNE_spudzOSvtwjhoC4_MQAvD_BwE

We're looking out further than local. I just need to learn to ask better questions before heading off to look at one. Yeah, taking ads down is a real problem. Often I see snide comments in the description like "I refuse to respond to anyone asking it it's still available. If you see it, it's available." I'm clueless to why people don't take the ads down. Me, beside uncommon courtesy, I wouldn't want to be pestered after the sale.

Thanks shadetree. We’re at a campground for the 4th but I’m planning on running by the house today for a bit. I’ll unplug it and see what happens. By the way, if I didn’t mention earlier, I bought this mower new in 2013. It now has a bit over 1000 hours but I remember it doing this for at least the last 3-4 years on occasion.

Not hot here for the last 3 days, had a fire on to take the chill out of the air, lots of rain, average temps between 12-16C, it was 9C when I got up this morning. The west coast is getting the heat wave now.

My dad passed at the shelbyville hospital. was in ky. he was on the 3rd floor. my sister an me was on the 1st floor, at the time, waiting for the elevator. then the floor or something, shook, a moment of feeling off balance, then the glass door opened an shut at the end of the hall, yet nobody was there. when the elevator finally came, we went up to the 3rd floor, and to my dads room. he had just crossed over a seconds/minutes ago..

I am really impressed with this forum. Especially after reading Bossdaddy’s shifting issues. Question: Is 2.2 quarts the correct amount of oil to use for an oil and filter change on a 2004 Honda Foreman ES? I have been using 15w rotella T synthetic blend.
  29. 1 point
Somewhat depends on how well you drained the oil. I usually warm the engine, pull the drain plug and get most of the oil drained. Then take the cover off and pull the filter, cleaning the area inside where the filter sits. That area does spit oil for a little also after pulling the filter so also leave that for a few minutes. By the time that is done the engine oil should be down to a drip but I leave it for another 10-15 minutes. After the filter is installed, making sure it isn't backwards, and the oil plug is put back I will add 2 quarts of oil and check. At that time you should need to add the other smaller amount. So if you made sure the oil was drained completely it should take the 2.2 quarts, if in a hurry maybe not. Best bet is checking after the 2 quarts and go from there, overfilling is never a good idea....

Here’s my Dad’s wood burner. From Santa Maria Grills. It’s at least 20 yo. He never liked it because he couldn’t control the flames—but you don’t cook over burning wood, you cook over coals. i used 100% hardwood charcoal and it works great. Took it to the campground last weekend and everyone used it lol! Here’s a couple big beef Tri tips and a slab of venison backstrap.

very interesting fish, i couldn't get my sister on the phone, and i can't lieve here.... etc (sigh) but the short of it is there WAS an antique clock, wind up brass closure with a glass face over the dial, and it was sitting on a mantel here in the south upstars bed room, where my niece slep, when my older sister devorsed they had no place to go, so they moved up here, and from what i recall, the clock would start chiming, at night ONLY, now this was years ago, i wasn't even a member in the old forums, so it was way back, anyways it frightened Karen (niece) to death, and she would go into her mothers room, but Mary blew it off, and thought karen had wound the clock up, but Karen claimed she never did, now this went on for a couple days, it didnt matter what the temperature was, or humidity, so we moved the clock, and it stopped chiming, and Mary wanted back on the mantel, so after a few days we took the clock back, placed where is was, and it started chiming all over again, well, bless her heart, Karen had HAD enough, so she swopped rooms with he older sister kristy, and it never chimed again, well Mary wanted to get it checked out so she took it helms in columbia, and they checked it (according to her) and it have never been wound and was perfect working condition, we never did find out what happened, but years later the clock just disappeared, no one knows what happened to it, or i haven't been told, i know Mary nor her kids wanted anything to do with it, lol, Mary still brings that clock up, she claims it was possessed .... (sigh)

When my Dad passed , after the funnel we had a gathering of family and friends at his house , my Mom had passed about 8 years before my Dad , the wife and I were the first to arrive at the house and walking up to the house two doves flew onto the roof right above the front door , just three feet from the gutter can and were very vocal , doing their calls , they were not scared of us at all , this had never happened just like that before , my Dad feed the birds as he was a bird lover for sure , let my wife be my witness , we both never said a word and looked at one another in amazement till someone else arrived and they flew off --- I truly believe there is after life , there are signs along the way , you just need to pay attention --- that is something that motorcycle accident did to me , it made me much more aware of what is going on around me , I looked at things with much more detail after that , things slowed down for say , in fact I will never forget what the doctor told me in the hospital , he said " you need to slow down and smell the roses " , which I thought was kind of corny at the time , but it is words of wisdom

i already told this once, guess there is no harm in telling it again. i hitched down to Ocala, to get a job riding racehorses. i got out in Ocala from a trucker. some bum was following me around, so i took off walking. i had called the Hobeau Farm, an had a job. long story short, after walking a while, the bum gave up, an an quit following me. {i walked a mile to school], so i had more staying power.. i was tired so, i prayed for help. not long after, i was picked up, by a lady, she was looking for a rider, that rode arabian horses. she took me to the bank, where she draw-ed some money out, i fussed at her for doing this, no telling who ya pick up, then she dropped me off at the gate, of the hobeau farm. she were looking for a rider named ED, an i am. what made her pull over, an pick me up, just a thought, that she needed to an she told me so.. not a spirit story, that your looking for. i have felt some spirits, or something, the presence, in the room, that ya cant see, when playing the git-fiddle. once i was playing, my mom come down stairs, i didnt see her, till she militarized, in front of me. i was deep in playing, an i never seen anything since. to compare, a storm comes, the reception is weak, the screen shows little squares, instead of a picture, is close..
