Just thought I'd stop here first and say hi. Old dude with retirement time on my hands to do my own ATV repairs. I've got a 2006 TRX400 Rancher that is my go to workhorse on my property and and old 86 TRX125 that my kids used to ride years ago. The 125 is currently in my garage with no juice problem to the ignition and I'll need advice as I go forward with my troubleshooting. See ya'll on the pages.

Hello, I'm in Nome, AK. I got a 1986 trx350 a few years back, It has been a constant battle fixing everything that breaks down on it, but I kinda like it in a way. Just wish it didn't pick the first snowstorm this year to take a crap on me. I don't have a garage, so yeah, frozen fingers, dropping parts in the snow, all part of the fun here! So, after strapping on the plow, after the first push, she dies on me, no big deal, its cold, just need to adjust the throttle cable a bit, but upon trying to start it, I hear a god awful grinding, sound, thought I'd grenaded the transmission, but after searching that other site, I found some great info from Shadetree and that it might be the starter bearing. Sure enough when I cracked open the case the bearings little spring wire had snapped. I also found out my driveshaft bearings and seals were completely gone. There was also a bit of gouging on the stator, I'm hoping it will be ok. I've got the left side crankcase gasket, one way starter bearing, and driveshaft ordered on Ebay. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what else to look for in there while I have it cracked open? When I pulled the left case the shifter shaft came with it, and from what I understand I may have to pull the right side now to fix what may have came off the shaft? Anyone know what that may be? I didn't hear anything obviously fall from the other side and I slid the shaft back in without issue. Is it possible I got lucky and won't have to crack open the right side? If I do end up pulling the right side, what should I look for there to repair while I'm in there? Too much info for an introduction? Thanks!

To tell the truth , I am a little disappointed in season 5 of Yellowstone ( three episodes out so far ) and many people that I know whom follow it are also not that impressed , I say it has turned into a chick flick , LOL , it is ok , but Taylor Sheridan toned it down some to me , the first 4 seasons were better --- now it has branched off to multiples show like 6666 , 1883 , 1932 , etc , Taylor is a real cowboy :

That's very interesting ^^^ i have herd of the four sixes ranch here..... I'll admit I've drug my feet on watching that show, but after that ^^ yep.... I'm going to check it out... That an amiasing bit of true history about that ranch I never knew of ... And Harrison ford ? Well....... I respect him... He's not your ordinary actor.... I've read about him, and his life ....Nd watched just about everything he's been in....i find one thing strange.... It's very odd it wasn't mentioned that four sixes is a centry ranch.... Our farming operation was awarded that title a farming operation that's been in operation for over 100 years none stop.... But lke as stated everything is bigger in Texas .....

I think i recall you talking about that bad wreck..... Was that when they pronounced you ? You know what i mean, right ? I'm still fuzzy on the details but i do recall something like that....along with the vita max....or was that a separate accident ? Hey! And your all their fish... Nothing wrong with your thinking at all.... Are you a little crazy ? Well yeah, but ! we all are...and I wouldn't have it any other way, because we actually enjoy life...if I'm like you.... I should have been killed many times over with the life I've lived, and you know what ? I wouldn't change one thing.. Because it's made me who i am now...

Check this one out , I never knew there was a Kawasaki 500 5 cylinder 2 stroke, I think that 500 side cover is a liar I had a 500 3 cylinder senior year of high school , got hurt when a guy pulled out in front of me , I went over the handlebars about 70 , guess you can tell I survived but not all there , the 500s and 750s were known as the widow makers LOL

I remember those well. I wanted one dearly. Probably having a super hot babe on the cover of Cycle magazine posing with one didn't help my lust for the Benelli. Common sense got the better of me since the smaller Benelli bikes were not known for much of anything but being a piece of crap.

That same old guard when to the bar on the corner by the museum after work and asked the bartender for a shot of 12 year old scotch , so the bartender was looking around and seen 8 year old scotch and said to himself , " he will never know the difference " , so after the guard downed the shot he spit it out all over the bar and said " that is 8 year old scotch and I asked for 12 year old scotch " , so the bartender went in the back room and found some 10 year old scotch , same thing the guard downed the shot , spit it out and said " that is 10 year old scotch and I asked for 12 year old scotch " , the bartender was losing his patience , but was kind of intrigued by how good this guy was at guessing the age of the scotch , so he went in the back , couldn't find any 12 year old scotch , so he peed in the bottle and pour the guard a shot of it , the guard downed the shot and as soon as the guard spit it out , the bartender told him " now you tell me how old I am "

I don't know if this would be a classic..... Most likey not.... But i kinda cut my teeth on a cab over international that had this exact paint scheme.....had a 13 speed 400 big cam.... If memory serves me right the top speed was around 88 mph....... Nothing specail as trucks go.... But she was a war horse..... Never worried too much about dropping too many gears battling steep up grades.... But id be left in the rear veiw on the flats.... But on grades ?? She was a bad animal.... We sure have come along ways over the years....most likey have seen the best semi trucks years... Now that just about all of them are eat up with computer crap... And auto trans (thumbs down) give me a mechanical b kitty cat old school extended hood pete, or kenworth And that's all i want...... The truck (i called rainbow) cab over in this pic....and I think..... Their was a particular grocery chain that ordered several of these same painted trucks because i still saw them running around... A deferent crackerbox variation ..... But still the same paint, just might have a bull bumper, or deferent wheels.... Ours had a bull bumper added... And a custom rear diamond plate flap hanger with a separate turn signal brake light setup... Which was safer bob tailing..... Edit: better pics..... That's her exact twin paint scheme
