spent all day today pulling my camper axle out from under the camper, putting the springs back up, and mounting the axle under the springs, used a dexter axle conversion kit, now i won't worry about tearing anything else off from under the camper when i go back to the deer woods !. i already bent one of the stabilizer jacks !, got 4 new ones to replace the ones on it now, these new jacks are rated @ 10k each. did not mount them yet ?, just got done with the axle flip, i'm tired..lol. i think it turned out really well !. a before lift, and after lift pic.

i do know for a fact, the rear axle threads that are on your atv are the very same threads that the flywheel is !. yrs ago, i discovered this. i screwed the axle in, then double nutted the outer axle end, used an air impact to screw the axle in, walla, flywheel popped off.

here's a couple pics so far. top hole is for the plug, bottom shaft is where the seal goes. i got it split far enough apart to get the drive shaft off, then easly pried the oil seal out.

well, it looks like i'll be tearing my kubota b2100 back apart, oil seals that are at the clutch/gear housing are leaking ?, only one way to fix this, split the tractor..AGAIN !!..LOL. ordered the oil seal and plug for it, along with a hydro oil pump rebuild kit. while i'm waiting on these parts to come in, i'll drain the hydro oil, get the tractor split, and ready for the oil seal and plug. i sure wish i would have replaced these when i had it apart the first/second time ?..sigh. oh well..it has to be done. i'll try to remember to snap some pics, so if anyone else ever has to go through this ?, they will at least know what is in store ?!?..lol. here is a pic of when i split it the first time, as you can see that shaft sticking out of the clutch area ?, that shaft has an oil seal that is leaking. and right above that shaft is a rubber plug ( no clue what the plug is for ? ), its leaking hydro oil as well. anyway..as you can see..this is a PITA to work on.

by lifting it, i save my jacks, save my septic line, and can now lower my rear steps that go into the back door, and be able to open and close the rear door without it jamming up on the top of the steps. the steps fold up into the doorway when traveling. last but not least, it will level up better to my WDH on my truck, and the tension bars won't drag on the ground as much. so yeah..this will save me a ton of headche in the long run. yes..i'll lose mpg a tad ?, but its not enough to worry about, camper only weighs in about 3k empty i think it is ?.

Hey, Thanks for the welcomes and the help with my Username. Apparently, I missed something on the ATVHONDA registration page. My grandpa used to say, "Haste makes waste". That saying might apply here... JJC

I guess being that light maybe they put it that low to help line the frame up with suv's. Being that light i would bet they are pulled by suvs and cars more than trucks? The functional benefit is worth your effort though for sure. We broke our main sewer line on our camper pulling into a track that had some less than level access. Wasnt a hard fix its just abs cut and glued on the new pieces and it was like it never happened. Our toyhauler is leaf over axle already so cant go any higher without lift blocks. The placement of the sewer pipe is dumb though. Only a foot back from the front of the camper way to far forward of the axles.

i ordered oem kubota parts to rebuild this pump, it should work ?. oh yeah..i flushed the whole system..i removed every line that could come off, ran them through my parts washer, then blew them out with my air compressor .i drained the tractor again, i will pull the pick up filter again, check it. when i go to pick the parts up locally, i will grab another hydro oil filter while i am there. not too worried about a dirty system ?, i just did not replace all the oil seals when i had the chance the first go around ?..big mistake, minor set back..i'll fix it...lol.

Been taking my service truck apart before selling it , so I wan't letting this Wilton bullet vise go , the bullet vise is the best vise out there in my book , cleaned it up and swapped it on to my work table , and moved the old Wilton with the broken swivel

Hi Jack , welcome to ATVHonda forums ---- I think it is going to take a administrator to change your user name , I would guess you want it to be " JumpinJackCrash " ?? @jeepwm69 @toodeep@retro

I found a sure-fire way to protect the rear stabilizers when pulling into a steep driveway with an abrupt change in angle. Mount your wife's bicycle on the back bumper.

Finally I am back on the job.... I altered the parts layout a bit and then soldered the parts down. Next up, cut wiring for harnesses and assemble & solder waterproof connectors into them.

Think the XL has a lot deeper lug. I had a set I traded for when Shade build that 450 for powerstroke on the old board. They were heavy but otherwise did ok. Used to irritate me when my grandfather and Dad wouldn't just loan stuff out to people. Now that I'm older I understand it better.

You’ll find it no doubt. Then you’ll have some hard-to-find spare modules You have aftermarket fuel pump on it? the coil may have color codes on the housing. The important thing about a coil is you have primary and secondary windings. The secondary has more windings (usually) and so the resistance values are different. So if you can’t tell the poles apart. Consult the service manual on coil measurements and put the meter to it. This is why Fish said to remove the coil spark plug cap. Then you inspect the spark plug wire for corrosion and nip off a bit. Then clean the spike end of the cap with a .22 cal bore brush
