  1. Stop by frequently, just don't have a lot say lately. 🙂
  2. Been overloaded with work and honeydo's lately. But still drop in some. Never had teal, but dad and I grilled'ed a coon one time. That was probably my worst wild game experiment. I use to be in a hunting club that had a big skeet shoot every year the week before dove season opened. Every year we'd roast a whole hog in a big steel pan underground. That was some pretty good eating but one year we decided to try a goat the same way. Nope, not a wise decision. Awefullest tasting stuff I ever put in my mouth.Must have been a billy. haha.
  3. shoe leather probably be good that way, albeit a bit chewy. 🙂 Dove is good deep fried, like chicken, also. Cold beer, case of shells, good dog, birds flying, don't get much better than that. About the most fun you can have with your clothes on.
  4. Just a wild ! guess, but I'll say Monica. The cigar that nearly brought down a President.
  5. A case of chaulk will fix that right up. 🙂
  6. Buzzards gotta eat, same as the worms.
  7. Yeah I really hate that about Clint. He has been my favorite actor for as long as I can remember.
  8. https://www.ammoland.com/2020/02/clint-eastwood-joins-other-hollywood-action-hero-frauds-with-bloomberg-endorsement/#axzz6TJCWA4TF Dang. Well maybe Hank Jr will start making movies. Haha.
  9. Where did you see that? He is about as conservative as they come, from Hollywood standpoint.
  10. 10-4. It runs great now, but I'm just trying to decide what all I should to do to it when I replace the timing chain. Was thinking I might get by without removing the jug and sending it off for checking/boring but maybe I should just do the whole top end while I'm at it, I don't know.
  11. I wanted to run leak down test before I tear into the top end and was curious how much air pressure you pros use? I took it up to 50psi and the tester shows it’s leaking 2 psi (1%), which is going into the crankcase past the rings. I think that’s likely acceptable but maybe I should use more pressure? I was holding the flywheel bolt to keep the piston up and sure how much pressure it could take?
  12. Same here. I've got a Stihl FS80 trimmer that I bought new in '94 and have used it every week during grass season ever since. I never even pour the gas out of it in the off season. Starts right up every single time. Can't seem to kill it. Never anything done to it except routine maintenance. It's never had any ethanol gas in it though and I use the red Stabil.
  13. Great, I assume by that getting them torqued to spec isn't necessary? Probably been 30 years since I've lapped valves. haha! But yeah, it doesn't look like much more work to pull the head, do that and check things out. I'm sure the seals/stems are leaking somewhat after all of these years. Speaking of valves, are there aftermarkets available? I noticed the exhaust valves are "unavailable" from Honda now, like a lot of other parts.
  14. Checked the cam chain adjuster on my 350D this afternoon and there is about 9/32” (0.290 or so) left, so looks like a new cam chain is in the near future. Am I pushing it to continue using it for a while longer? Had planned to adjust the valves this week also but haven't done it yet. I've never torn into the engine on it, but from what I’ve read/watched, replacing it will require removing the head cover, cam chain adjuster, right case cover, centrifugal clutch, clutch, and oil pump. Is that about right? What’s the best way to hold the clutches without the special tools? Is there anything else I should consider doing while I’m at it, like valve guides or etc? It doesn’t use any oil and runs great.
  15. I’m thinking the same thing because he said he went 360 after adjusting on the F.
  16. Yep. I haven't bothered to take it off yet but I've threatened too many times.
  17. I can't edit this post, timer ran out I guess. I hate for anyone to read that and get it backwards. I meant to say from left to right. My bad. Sometimes my fingers get ahead of my brain and bad things happen. 🙂
  18. LOL! Dog gone, you got me there. I must have been thinking of one of those backwards clocks, you know. HAHA!
  19. I get that but where I was headed with that is, is there not a modern muffler (OE Honda or aftermarket) that is close enough to where it could be modified by a custom muffler shop to fit. If it's just a matter of piping, then likely that's doable, but if there isn't a muffler that's close fit, maybe not so much.
  20. My 350D has one of the shift levers like in Wilson's post. It's a love/hate relationship, it's great when I'm by myself but kind of pain when I have a passenger, which is not that often.
  21. What is the deal with the mufflers on these old bikes? In other words, why aren't there some aftermarket options available? And why can't a person have a muffler shop whip up something custom for them?
  22. I just got notice from FedEx that my package will be here tomorrow. Dang that’s quick and I can’t ask for anything better. I guess results vary though depending on what you order and where you are.
  23. Hands on a clock always move right to left when you're standing in front of the clock looking at it's face.
  24. I decided to try Rocky Mountain ATV. Placed an order this afternoon 3ish, just got notice that it has shipped. That's pretty dang good service, I'd say!
