Hello all. Looking for suggestions and if anyone’s had similar symptoms. Sorry for the long story in advance. Two days ago I was pulling a tub trailer with all my camping gear, and a moose in the tub trailer 25kms out of the mountains in British Columbia. About half way out, I started hearing a squealing noise from my quad, only when driving. In neutral, I revved the motor, no squeal. I had no choice but to keep going to get to the vehicles. Today I was unloading my quad from my trailer and it struggled to move, as if the brakes were applied. Again the rev limiter came on in reverse and the ESP, D1, and D2 was flashing. I had this last year as well which I resolved by replacing the angle sensor. My quad has 9000kms on it and up till now has been an awesome machine. Looking to see if anyone has had similar issues, if it’s cost effective to tear apart and fix, or time to move on to a different machine? Anyone have a link to the manual for my quad? No I didn’t. I also watched a video on utube and installed it how the guy said. installed it with the connection facing approximately 1 o’clock and the rotated it till the two holes line up. Tested it in D1, D2, and ESP. It worked great and shifted good through all the gears. The reverse rev limiter issue went away as well. Maybe I got really lucky. I didn’t look deep enough into the manual. What’s the process for initializing it?

Hi there. It ended up being the cam shift angle sensor. It was flashing 5 times and then a longer flash. Found a manual on this forum and it lead me to that. Installed a new one and all issues fixed. Now I need some new rubber for the wheels and it’s ready to go!!

What a great site. Happy to find it. With finding a manual on this site I was able to determine it was the Cam shift angle sensor. Installed a new one in and we’re ready to ride again. Thanks 👍

Hi there. D1, D2, ESP Flashing and only have first gear. Reverse has like a rev limiter. If I turn the key on, start it and right away put it in D and get on the throttle right away, I have all the gears. As soon as i come to a stop, it goes back into flashing the D1, D2, and ESP. Does someone have manuals for troubleshooting this?
