  1. Yeah the disks were not snug in the basket. Toodeep and fish pointed that out for me. Once I got it all back together again was having issues with the case cover. It did snug up properly when I put it back together the first time but then I learned some things the second time. Your thread for putting the cover back on, from July I think, was very helpful. Followed your instructions to the T. Ended up ordering another clutch adjustment bolt, seal, nut. The previous one seamed like someone put the wrong nut on and jacked up the threads. The triangle piece wouldn’t adjust the way I needed it to. She’s back together now. Purring with no ticks. Pretty stoked.
  2. She done. This thread helped a ton. It helped with the particulars of a rookie putting it back together. Appreciate the thread. @shadetree @Fishfiles @toodeep Thanks guys 65334690922__9DCF01BC-6668-4AFC-81B0-06B8A0947193.MOV
  3. Ok. Thanks again for the direction guys. The disks are snug. I did realize after fish’s and toodeep’s breakdown that the clutch basket was not coming forward like it should pinching the misaligned disks. The Kickstarter is loaded with the washer on the back. The reverse lever is loaded. The orientation is lined-dot-arrow. The centrifugal one way bearing is faced outside. Clutch washers are faced outside. I noticed my clutch adjustment was not lined with the guide on inside of case. Pics attached. I’m waiting on the gasket. The bike will be like this with the case on (not bolted) till gasket gets here. Am I missing anything?
  4. Awesome. Thanks guys. Really appreciate it. I’ll let you all know.
  5. I do remember being worried that I tightened those too tight and backed off and remember the disks moving. From what your saying, the disks should be snug?
  6. Hello. Me again… Replaced timing chain. So I got everything back together after installing the new timing chain. Had the bike turned on it’s side with the clutches facing up. The Kickstarter never came out and it stayed in place(wound up), lined up shifter on the secondary clutch(dot, arrow, the triangle bearing piece) put the reverse lever back on to what I though was correct. Hopefully my vocabulary is correct in describing everything. The Bike won’t move with throttle when in gear. Kickstarter doesnt have the resistance it did and won’t start the bike. She starts and purrs great with electric just won’t move. Feel like I’m gonna have to go back in the crankcase. Pretty sure I did something incorrectly. Anyone have experience with this?
  7. Me again… so I got everything back together after installing the new timing chain. The Kickstarter never came out and it stayed in place(wound up), lined up shifter on the secondary clutch(dot, arrow, the triangle bearing piece) put the reverse lever back on to what I though was correct. The Bike won’t go into any gear and the Kickstarter doesnt have the resistance it did and won’t start the bike. She starts and purrs great just won’t move. Feel like I’m gonna have to go back in the crankcase. Pretty sure I did something incorrectly. Anyone have experience with this?
  8. Really don’t wanna do that again. Bolt extractors.
  9. Yeah I figured I need to go back into the whole top. Imma pick up some left handed bits today. I have a lil 110 welder. Order some used bolts as well. Hopefully they are what the pic shows. Think I’m about to learn some patience the hard way. When I took the top end apart the first time, I took my time on the bolts and then torqued them back to specs. Got in too much of a hurry this time. Frustrating…
  10. Apologies. Both 34’s and both 35’s.
  11. Anyone know a trick to get the broken bolts out? The two long bolts and the two bolts next to the cam. 4 bolts total broke on the threads. Changing timing chain. Pretty depressed.
  12. Can an idle be dialed in and still be lean? Meaning to the ear it sounds good but could be lean?
  13. This is a question of ignorance. If the engine is running hot, which I’ve read they do, could it also be from running lean and heating the piston up too much? If it’s too lean, wouldn’t it idle different? Is it possible to have the idle dialed in but lean? Or am I over thinking it? They just run hot.
  14. Some progress on the wheeler. My wife named her Renda. 1.5 spacers on the rear. 18’ stock rubicon wheels and tires. Still need to do the timing chain. Waiting on the gasket. Really need to do an oil cooler mod. Most likely with a fan. Hot in FL…
  15. Are those oil filter covers custom fab or for sale? I need one in my life.
  16. I like the deep dish look as well. For the time being till the spacers arrive, lol... Put the eBay 2” lift on it recently as well.
  17. Yeah I ordered 1.5’s. I’m not planning on running the wheeler super hard. That could change tho, lol. The 18’ reference was 2018 rubicon stocks wheels and tires. Found some Saturday and got’em.
  18. So, learning from trial and error and ignorance… again 92’ 300. Stock 18’ Rubicon steel wheels fit the front after the conversion. As fish said. The rear with 25x10-12 tires needs spacing. The offset in the rear (inside) is too deep. Bumping the muffler one side and the frame on the other.
  19. Did your stock front wheels fit? Thinking about buying some used rubicon stock wheels and tires for 300TRX with brake conversion. I don’t know much about rubicons.
  20. Hi guys. Question just to make sure my math and reading is correct. 92 300TRX FW-super atv front brake conversion kit. Of course OEM rims won’t fit. Looking to buy 2-ITP steel-D12F511 (4/110) 5+2 and 2-ITP steel D12R511 (4/110) 2+5. 12x7 wheels. Tires will be 25x8-12 front and 25x10-12 rear. Will these wheels fit? By all I can read, these will fit over the front calipers. Any info is appreciated. Just want to double check what I’ve read and I would bet someone has experience in this. Thanks
  21. Nice! Thanks for that. So a 250ex or 250trx OEM chain correct?
  22. Thanks I got about 1/4 inch on the adjuster but I can hear it rattling and yes, the valves are spaced .006. I had to go back in a readjust after the first run. I can remember how the chain folded vs curls when I was in the top end but didn’t know any better. I was too worried about the piston, valves etc and never looked up any info on the chain.
  23. Timing chain needs replaced. I didn’t know what I was listening for til it was back together. IMG_1002.MOV IMG_1004.MOV IMG_1002.MOV
