    Weather

after a fews days of ice weather (still too wet for farmers to keep no tilling) another round .... i was thinking this season was going to be a good one for severe weather ... i reckon so.

  6. thanks goober. here's the early setup ... i ran a wire harness back to the battery with a 30 amp fuse ... and swopped the 25 watt bulb out for a a 100 watt focus beam aircraft landing strip bulb ...
  7. you should see the crud lift .... then rinse .... you might need multiple treatments .... but it does work!
  8. just keep digging use these parts number nos and search for the part number :-) you'll need to do some looking here https://www.hondapartshouse.com/oemparts/c/honda_atv/parts i believe honda started using those outlets back in 84 trx200 and went all the way to 2000, basically there the same .. you might also look here https://www.hondarestoration.com/
  9. for me, just a matter of minutes ... doesn't take long ... just don't let it dry .... best way is in an open shop with no fans on. and use gloves if you scrub any ... Ajax (came to mind to to) i recall cleaning aluminum rims for my pops as a kid. worked really good, but i haven't seen Ajax around here in years .
  10. it's not rated for much being the fuse is only 15 amp.... NO!! you would not run a winch from this plug .... but the rare hondaline work light (yes) thats about the only thing from honda i would use ... i ran a digital police radio off mine, and had no issues .. @Goober is the only one i know of that has that rare hondaline work light.
  11. that's the factory accessory plug ... it's live only when the key is on ...
  12. any chance the rain ... on the electrics ... caused it to start shifting ? i say this because fish has used water to help trace down electrical issues ...
  13. my 86 has one .... i don't think the 350 was turned out till 86 ... before then it was 250a ...
  14. i believe those models all have this... if this part is what yout talking about ... but I'd take fishes advise ... and talk to shade, or goober
  15. might also drop @Z7What a line he did these aluminum rims ..
  16. plus ^^^ could be exhaust back pressure ....there should be a cover on the tail end of the exhauset bolted on by 2 bolts ... https://www.hondapartshouse.com/oemparts/a/hon/506bac6ef870023420a214d4/muffler https://www.hondapartshouse.com/oemparts/a/hon/506bac6df870023420a214d3/air-cleaner
  17. easy off oven cleaner..... is what i use on the un coated engine case parts .... ecthing acid is a tad stronge ..... been there (in the past) westleys bleach white does a good job, and won't hurt any rubber parts / hoses etc ... wd-40 is used for more of a pertection prep before mud riding ... just avoid getting it on the handle bars seat, and exhaust .. other then those place coat the entire bike ... and mud will slide right off.
  18. no gas leeking down on the engine case ?? ... plugged blowby tube ?? next thought would be the valves might be out of adjustment ... because the intake for those is right there close (right and left) upper front fender..
  19. might be a good idea to check the gas tank vent in this case ^^^ a stuck needle, can also completely fill the crank case was gas ..., I've seen that happen on rare occasions ...
  20. that's some beautiful riding area y'all have ... what's the story on the building ?
  21. is this whats missing ? because i see it if your post.
  22. lol! well .. at least you'll be getting some of your tax dollars back :-)
  23. I'd go along with what jeep said ... but looks to me like your drilling is off center (tad bit) .. but now that still doesn't mean .... anything .. do this, take a magnet .. and see how many filings are drawn out ...
