  1. 1999 Honda Foreman My shocks are squeezing like I don’t know what. They do fine on smooth surfaces but off road they have more squeaks that a haunted house. I’m sure they are stock. What does everybody suggestion as a good budget friendly replacement?
  2. 1999 Honda Foreman TRX450ES. Basically stock! Just got done fixing her back up to presentable.
  3. @jeepwm69 I ordered the ones off Ebay, will report back on the quality.
  4. Saw these too just didn’t know if anybody had used them
  5. Anybody know where to get good replacement decals that don't cost $200?
  6. You calling me an idiot? Ha!
  7. Yeah it in the upper 90's and 100's here now. Just wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to mess it up. I keep a close watch on the red dash light also.
  8. I have noticed that the fan on my foreman is coming on quite a bit. I know it is hot here (Tennessee) but seems to be coming on relatively quick. First time i noticed it i was pulling a pull behind bush hog then yesterday my little girls were riding it and they got it to come on just putting around the land. When I had some work on it I had them change the thermostat oil sensor. I did however get it off amazon. Could that be it or should I be looking at something else? Or am I just paranoid?
  9. Finally got my grandfathers four wheeler where I want it. I'm sure that there will be more that I want to do with it but I am happy with how far it has come. @jeepwm69 If you notice in the second picture you can see the on/off switch for the pod light that you turned me on to. Thanks for everyone's help that suggested ideas and pointed me in the right direction on this.

    ES Bypass Kits

When you are in 2,3,4 it just gives you the dash sign ( - )
  11. @jeepwm69 had some free time this weekend and did your suggestion and put a cut off on the pod light. I put it on the side of the pod housing like you suggested about. Much easier that running the wires back and up to the key console. Works great!

    ES Bypass Kits

Got the bypass kit in and it was stupid easy to install. Been using it for about three weeks now and no issues what so ever. Only thing is that it only shows R,1st and 5th gear but if you know how to drive an ATV you are fine. Just wanted to follow back up on this for everyone that might have the same issue. Thanks
  13. Plastic is a little Frankenstein in a couple places.
  14. Here are the pictures I got of it.
  15. I was told that I can get it for $800 @jeepwm69
  16. Wanting to get some advise from everyone. Had a guy approach me this morning and he has a 1986 Honda 250 Fourtrax 2x4 that was his grandfathers and wants to sell it to me so that he can get a roll cage for his new rzr. He said that it has no issues, clean, and has been garage kept. I have not seen pictures of it but he is going to clean it up this evening and send me some pictures. What is a good deal on this unit? I know condition plays a big part in this but what is a good ball park for one of these?
  17. I tried my hand with welding some broken plastic last year. I used some small paper clips and a soldering iron to heat them up and melt into the plastic. after that I used same color zip ties to cover them up and hold them in. They are holding great and have had no problems with them. Plus I had all that stuff at the house so i didnt have to go out and buy anything. Since then my dad bought a plastic welding gun but i have not used it yet. Exact same concept. Hope this helps out.

    ES Bypass Kits

Well i kept trouble shooting and came up with nothing. Bought a new angle sensor and that was not the culprit either. Ended up ordering the bypass kit. Gave it my best shot but seems like this time I lost.

    ES Bypass Kits

Ok, as some of you know I am having trouble fixing the Electric Shift on my 1999 Foreman. @retro and I spent about 3 hours on the phone over the course of a couple of nights going through all the steps and everything seemed to check out. We concluded that it was the ECM, I called my local guy that got it up and running for me and he had a brand new ECM that I went over and tried and that did not fix it. My local guy also said that years ago he had one do the exact same thing and he had to put a bypass switch on it. That is why he had the brand new ECM, because he concluded that it was an ECM and ordered a brand new OEM one and that did not fix. Currently me and a buddy are going back through everything that me and Retro did to make sure I didn't test something wrong. But i was wondering everyone's thoughts, pros, cons, etc. on the bypass kits. I like for everything to be OEM and work like it should but I am sitting here with a perfectly running machine that just wont shift. But for $30-$50 dollars I can have it back up and running. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  20. My old shop was 20x20, this one is 4 of those so hopefully it wont fill up to quick. But you are right, you can never have a big enough shop.
  21. Well she is finally done, starting on the house in 4-6 weeks. Now time to get all my tools from storage and fill this sucker up.

    ECM

Well the saga continues. Got a new battery from work just to check and make sure it wasn't my battery. That didn't fix it! Checked with a local repair guy around here and he had a brand new ECM, so i took it over to his place and plugged in the new ECM and that didn't fix it either. So I guess we are back to square one. Its a love hate relationship right now.

    ECM

Wondering if someone can help me with a question: Looking for an ECM but looking on Partzilla it lists two different part numbers for the ECM. Will they both work do I need to know something for a specific part #? Part Numbers 38910-HN0-A11 38910-HN0-A12 Thanks
