This guy has been around for a few years now, but mainly showing himself at night. Started getting brazen past few months & the last 3 days in a row now (this very moment) is out running around the yards here trying to catch one of the squirrels.

I would call that a red fox , we got silver and red , reds are bigger , not "suppose" to shoot either  , they are cute and pretty  , but they will take your small  pets

I can see how people could say , " F " the eagles !!!   ----    I'll never shoot one ,  because of the $100K fine ---- but I could see how people would want to shoot them , there is a contractor / developer I have known for years in Chalmette La , he started a high dollar neighborhood development over 25 years ago , put millions of dollars into clearing , bringing in fill ,  laying water and sewer pipes , building road beds , fencing off the property , and the project is still sitting there unfinished because two  eagles  built a nest in the tree right by the entrance to the site 25 years ago and they come back every year to the nest , amazing that eagle was never picked off , $100K fine times two on a multi-million dollar investment is a drop in the bucket

and that sign is the reason we will never admit to having a nested pair of bald eagles here...we also have a pair of Ospreys...very common on the lake just 10 miles away, but these decided our pond was big enough for their eating needs so they have made home here. We simply enjoy watching them and leave it at that.  oh and a family of gray herons, and regular visits from the Egrets (white crane type bird...whatever they are called)  Thankfully the yotes are the largest predators. here...no wolves, surprisingly no bears and that's good by me.

As far as wolves go here, I think there is a lot of the 3 S's going on. Shoot, Shovel, and Shut up!

Good looking Fisher Cat; heard my buds friend called in a hungry fisher while turkey hunting. Neither were happy with the encounter but only one survived it!

actually, we've got two of these in the side yard right now.. momma is many generations of being born here..she's not 15 feet off our our back deck...the wife and I along with two of our life long friends were just sitting out back enjoying the afternoon and she comes up and calls her kid out.  We're still a long way from them wanting us to pet them or toss food, but you can bet if they hear me spreading some corn out...they are ready as soon as I step away.

May be an image of deer and nature
