Started getting brazen past few months & the last 3 days in a row now (this very moment) is out running around the yards here trying to catch one of the squirrels. I would call that a red fox , we got silver and red , reds are bigger , not "suppose" to shoot either , they are cute and pretty , but they will take your small pets

We simply enjoy watching them and leave it at that. oh and a family of gray herons, and regular visits from the Egrets (white crane type bird...whatever they are called) Thankfully the yotes are the largest predators. here...no wolves, surprisingly no bears and that's good by me.

Good looking Fisher Cat; heard my buds friend called in a hungry fisher while turkey hunting. Neither were happy with the encounter but only one survived it!

Bighanded 1,235 Posted June 9, 2022 (edited) actually, we've got two of these in the side yard right now.. momma is many generations of being born here..she's not 15 feet off our our back deck...the wife and I along with two of our life long friends were just sitting out back enjoying the afternoon and she comes up and calls her kid out. We're still a long way from them wanting us to pet them or toss food, but you can bet if they hear me spreading some corn out...they are ready as soon as I step away.
