Dash cam caught this Piebald Buck on the way home last night.  Glad it was the camera and not the grill.

I think about Mr BB from time to time , I seen a post on a Bobcat equipment site by a Mr BB and wondered if it was him with his new Holland and bears

When I showed the wife the pic of the bear breaking into the house above ---  She  was just telling me a story that i never heard yet , about an animal crying like it was in bad pain and  some  hoot , hoot , hoot , she was taking the dog out last night  and she seen two big birds fly off from inside our yard , it is pretty lite up for the most part , it was 10:30 at night , had to be a owl , I had heard them a few nights ago , I just walked the yard where she said she seen them and never found any blood or hair , would think it was a rabbit being it was at night and I been seeing a pair of rabbits along the back fence

Track chart

image.png

The bear track is a composite Grizzly/Black front.

This is a Grizzly front track.

The toes are in a straighter line and touch.

Indents above the toes were made by the claw tips.

I think he was trying to scare him off and not hit him -----  I think you have to justify a  kill of a mountain lion , but I think when the  lion  made that first lunge , it would have been for me to put a couple in his face
