2000 Foreman 450 Lift

Recommended Posts

Besides buying a lift kit, are there other ways to lift my Foreman, longer shocks, shocks from another atv things like that. I know a kit is around $100 or so but the shocks are 20 years old and could be replaced. Thanks in advance.

Hi Jemmons467, @Fishfiles has experience extending and lifting 450s. I'm sure when he sees your thread he will be along to explain all of your options. Keep us posted if ya can... and with pics of your mods if ya can. :-)

I have read that the 2009-2014 generation 420 front shocks will lift the front end a 450 , but I have never tried it , I have the lift kits on my fronts ---- maybe go to Bronco shocks' site or call them on the phone with measurements of your shock , 2 inch longer shocks  is the max you can go or you will have to compress them to put them in

Thank you I will look into it further. I will also try that site as well. I don't want any more than than anyways, just enough to give it more clearance but not to much to cause issues with the cv joints
