Bighanded 1,235 Posted January 15, 2021 love the bungies...we used to laugh that in Ohio, we called Duct Tape "Chrome" cause we'd use it to hold most everything together...that or old wire clothes hangers and now those are plastic formed things..useless for real jobs like getting hair out of the drain, popping a car door lock, I mean, that and the wife's butter knife..and you could pretty much fix anything. these days, I'll confess that bungies and zip ties are what hold my world together. 1 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

retro 4,048 Posted January 16, 2021 I use chunks of closed cell foam like exercise mats and pipe insulation are made of. It has no permanent memory so won't fall out after being squashed.... I cut chunks out with scissors and coat the foam with dielectric grease before stuffing the chunks under the terminal nuts. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
