1st time posting, just picked up a 2003 Honda Foreman ES, I read on a few other forums that there has been some issues with the ES. Is there any maintenance I should be doing on this system?

Yes it is, my father in law had one for years, loved the ease of maintenance on these atv's, due to health reasons I can no longer ride my dual sport, don't have the ankle strength to shift, this atv is a great way to go for me. I didn't want a belt drive unit

Welcome to the site danlee, we do have a ton of Foreman ES showing up here so you have alot of ideas being bounced around.  I will post a link to a thread describing how to properly prep ES Hondas by our best ES guy here.  You are welcome for the plug retro....lol
