DeTaylor 48 Posted October 30, 2021 (edited) Lady 15 min from me is selling these wheels and tires for $60 for the set! She said they came off a 450 rubicon but is unsure of the year. Anyone know if they’ll fit a 2000 Foreman 450ES? Tires are the exact same size front and back but I’m not sure if they changed the offset between the two machines. I do have disc brakes in the front if that makes a difference. Edited October 30, 2021 by DeTaylor More info.
DeTaylor 48 Posted October 30, 2021 Taggin a few of the guys that seem to have crazy knowledge of these machines. Seems she has a few people that can pickup tomorrow and trying to beat them to the punch. @jeepwm69 @Fishfiles @shadetree

If that is true, they will fit but be tucked way in to my knowledge? Edited October 30, 2021 by DeTaylor
jeepwm69 7,751 Posted November 1, 2021 Go get them. They look like they are off of an 03ish-12 Rubicon. They are aluminum and are lighter than steel 12" wheels. I run them on all of my wheelers, and that's a screaming deal on them. Rincon wheels are also aluminum, but the offset is the same front and back. You can still use Rincon wheels but you'll have to run spacers on the rear.

My only concern is I recall superatv saying modifications will be needed if you run aluminum wheels with the front disk brakes. I will likely go get them either way and worst case sell them for a profit.
jeepwm69 7,751 Posted November 1, 2021 Go get them. IF you have any problems with them, all you have to do is grind a hair off of the caliper bracket. Doesn't affect function at all. Most people run them without having to do anything at all, so when they say "Won't work with aluminum wheels" that just to cover their butts for the odd one that have a little rubbing. DeTaylor 48 Posted November 1, 2021 @jeepwm69 thanks man! I’ll go snag them tonight (if she hasn’t sold them).
sublime68charger 172 Posted November 2, 2021 did you get these? That is a good deal on them for sure. they will fit just fine like was said. Heck I'd be putting chains on them and then have a killer winter set of tires and then swamp out for your other set for summer riding. or vise versa.

Sadly they were sold about an hour before I could get to them. Live and learn.
sublime68charger 172 Posted November 3, 2021 I like the old style Rubicon Rims better than this style but that is just my own personal opinion. keep a eye out on FB or CL they show up from time to time. What was the plan for them if you got them? Just a spare set?
DeTaylor 48 Posted November 3, 2021 @sublime68charger my set is pretty beat up. Was going to take them off and clean them up. In the meantime, was going to run these.

I run those 12" rubicon wheels on all my stuff too, I like them and always keep an eye out for them -they are scarce, but do pop up from time to time
