Transmission and transfercase ??

2005 4l80e with a 1989 3/4 ton suburban transfer case(passenger drop 241c) with electronic speed sensor.  Transfer case is fairly difficult to find.

Anyone remember the old motors manuals with all the pictures of the grills from each model years?  My Dad always had a few of those and I loved looking through them.  Those were the days when each model year had a completely different sheet metal.  Not like now when I can't easily tell my 2021 Tundra from a 2014 model.

When buying a used car that included some sort of repair manual I'd scan the manual looking for greasy fingerprints to see what work might have been done on the car.  I liked the Haynes manuals for imports.  " Offering up the spanner" gave me a chuckle.
