Honda TRX350FM 2006 Screen

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am new here.

Please help me, my Honda TRX350FM 2006 Screen has stopped working.

The bottom left corner of the display's motherboard has a small Resistor or Diode (something like that anyway) that has rusted and broken, can anyone tell me what this is the how to fix it?

Thanks

(Thanks Fish!)

Welcome to the forum TRX350FM!

Sounds like you have water damages

If so, that might not be your only issue, as water damaged boards have a high component failure rate

If one part has fallen off, most likely a few more parts might also be corroded and be ready fail or fall off the board

If you would like to post a picture or two, I might be able to give you more insight on what it needs

Has this meter ever been operational?

How did water get inside?

I will send my contact information to your message box as well

Thank you, @AKATV.

Yes, my board looks like it has had water get into it.

I have now tried replacing the diode on the board and that has not fixed the issue.

Do you know of anywhere I can get a new screen in the UK?

I think that getting a new one would be the simplest way to fix the problem.

Thank you all, and look forward to your reply.

As you might have found, Honda has discontinued these meters and no longer manufactures them

You MIGHT get lucky and find some old stock at a dealership, but I would say the best bet is to check

any ATV salvage yards that you might have available in your area

Also, you might get lucky on ebay as i see the occasional one pop up from time to time

Shipping Internationally might pose a bit of a problem as well?

I can keep an eye out for one if you want
