_Wilson_™ 6,563 Posted July 6, 2021 if the OP is looking for a rebuild, I'll see if i can get @Brian Bertram contact information, but i don't which would be the better way to go, new or refresh, i just don't know about those hondamatic trannys seems like i recall a big bearing in a plastic cage, that was one major issue, i believe it's posted here some place ? jeepwm69 7,600 Posted July 6, 2021 Early models had a dinked oil pump design. Apparently the early Hondamatics failed from that, rather than a design flaw in the Hondamatic themselves.
