Burns370R 1 Posted July 25, 2022 I have an 02 Rubicon thats giving me some trouble. It only runs fine in the D1 if i go to D2 and get up to speed the D1D2 and ESP start flashing. If i go to esp hit 4th and D1/D2/Esp start flashing . Code5 Put bank sensor .shift motor. And gear sensor still goes into limp mode Anyone have any suggestions. This is a rebuilt unit from Bertram, so i think the hondamatic is okay since it works fine in D1. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Aftermarket electrical components for these Honda ATV's are about 99.9% bad right out of the box. Send it back and get a refund if you got it on Amazon or ebay. toodeep 1,760 Posted July 26, 2022 That sensor (I agree aftermarket are junk) needs to be preloaded when you install it and after that you need to reinitialize the system. Just making sure everything is getting installed correctly. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Burns370R 1 Posted August 28, 2022 Okay replaced the sensor with OEM and it runs and drives great. But when I shut the kill switch off D1/D2/Esp all start flashing shut key off then back on and goes away. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
