I don't think you can, but is it possible to separate the springs from the assembly.  Do they come apart.  Want to touch them up with paint but be easier apart. Lol

They do come apart but you'll need a spring compressor.

I have a set but would they work ya think? Is that little notched thing on the top just a keeper?

The top either unscrews from the shaft (will have lock nut) or it will have the keeper to just slip out.

Think mine just has a keeper.  Looks like these. I've been working out of town all week and thinking of all I want to do when I get home. Hahah

They just use the 2 types on these so it should be easy to do. I had some spring compressors like above but they was designed for automotive and didn't work the best with atv, too big. I grabbed some scrap iron and made one for the atv shocks.  Adjustable handle for different length of shocks and breaks down to hang on the wall.

Looks like they've jacked the price up quite a bit, but I got one of these several years ago.  The 05-11 Foremans and 05-14 Rubicons had rear shocks that would sag horribly and Highlifter springs would solve the sagging.  I swapped on one set with rachet straps, but that was walking on eggshells waiting on the contraption to explode on me so I broke down and bought the tool.

Probably wouldn't be hard to make one, like Toodeep did.
