[email protected] 0 Posted Wednesday at 07:33 PM (edited) Hello all , I am new to this forum and need to download a service manual for a Recon. I am also new to ATVs and do not know how to id this machine. All it says is RECON on the plastics. Where do I look for the model/serial number tag ? This has been in storage a couple of years and will crank over but not start. Would like to change fluids and maybe clean carb/fuel system prior to starting it. Thanks all OK found a tag says TRX250 1998, and found the download for manual. Any suggestions where to start appreciated. jeepwm69 7,721 Posted Friday at 03:50 PM Welcome aboard. If it's been in storage for awhile, first thing I'd do is drain the gas out of the tank and you'll likely have to remove and clean the carb. Get a can of starter fluid and shoot some on the air filter, and see if it fires off when you try to start it.
