What does the gear indicator show on the display? Is the neutral light on?

Ok so it’s not the oil and I’ve gotten back into neutral. Now it won’t start but it also won’t change gears with the ES. The battery is also fully charged.

neutral light on , on the dash ?, when you say it wont start..this mean it wont crank ?, or not start and run ?. if it cranks, but wont fire up and run ?, then check for spark at plug, with spark plug in boot, while laying on engine, get spark ?. if so ?, then put plug back in cylinder, spray some starting fluid in the intake of carb, it should fire over for a sec or two ?. if it does ?, then this is a fuel issue now. if it does not ?, then timing or compression issue.

Yes. That’s all it was. Not sure why it would prevent it from shifting but it did.

Thanks for letting us know how you fixed it! Now you can get ready to prep your ES system to make that reliable. :-)
