Fishfiles be patient. I'm going to share all the pics and the "story" of my foreman. Its nothing special but its different and its mine and I have enjoyed wrenching on it. Also, since I'm here instead of actually working, AKATV I finally got a text message from the number you sent me. They asked me to check my number cause they don't know what the ! I'm talking about. Can you please resend me your number? Thanks!

I have two 2003 350 Honda Rancher meter boards. One of them I can see the display in the back (both sunburned) 1 can still read parts of it and the other I cannot read anything so I took off the film off the front and the back and it did not help. You can see per the pictures. Everything else seems to work, but I need the display repaired on both.

Hi Jake9820 welcome to the forum!

I should be able to get you taken care of no problem

I just need to see what the actual internal circuit card looks like once you remove it from the case

you’re going have to remove it from the case to send me the circuit card anyways as it Is a lot cheaper that way $9.20 for the circuit card versus $25 for the whole speedometer

plus I do not need the harness and cases for the repair, I have it all here to test it out with

I sent my contact information to your message box as well if you’d like to contact me for a repair

I just finished repairing a speedometer display with heavy sun UV burnout for our member LedFTed this morning

I wanted to show results of UV damage repair, other than the reprogramming that I do

Before and after pics below-

my phone reflection in 2nd picture- not screen defect .....😊

Hi Robert,

Welcome to the forum

It really depends on what all you have wrong with your speedometer.

If you could post a few pictures

of your speedometer with it powered on and the headlights on so the display is illuminated, I can better tell you what repairs you need

I will send my contact information to your message box as well

AKATV,

I have a 2002 Honda 450S, No digital display, orange backlight is there and all the LEDs work, reverse, oil, 4wd and Neutral.  No water or sun damage. I opened the case and it looks pristine inside. Can you work with something like this?

please let me know thanks

Welcome to the forum

sounds like you may have dropped programming or have a dead board

post a few pictures of the illuminated display and we can take it from there

I think you might have a power issue

Youneed to make sure that you have 12 V on the red wire going to the speedometer constantly that’s the one that holds your memory for your clock but you also need to make sure that you have 12 V on your black wire with that has a brown trace on it when you turn the key on

without 12 V on both those wires the CPU won’t turn on and it will appear to be blank it’s worth checking out before we get any further into it

If you do find you have 12 V on your black wire with the brown trace as well as the red one you might’ve dropped programming or have a bad component or bad circuit card
