I thought about that as I posted this option. That's gonna be a much heavier clamp.

 

For 40 bucks, I'd just replace it.

just stager zip ties besides each other behind the lip a balancing issue is not going to be a concern with a drive shaft that short.. even if you use a hose clamp, but to put to you mind at eas use two clamps with the crew adjustments opposite of of each each other. (one at 12 o'clock the other at 6 o'clock
