  1. Thank you so much Jeep. You were 100% correct. After replacing the oil pump chain and installing the engine, I was still waiting on some new seals/boots for my front drive shaft. Being impatient to give the machine a try to see if everything worked, I covered the front differential to protect from dirt, and drove the machine up and down the road a couple of times. I would never have guessed that without the front drive shaft in it would cause all of these problems. Put the drive shaft with new seals & boots in last night and everything is working perfectly! Thanks again!
  2. I have a 2009 Honda Foreman Rubicon TRX500FA9. I just finished pulling the motor to replace the oil pump chain (it had come off) The machine is now running & moving again, but the speedometer will only display "0" even while moving. It will automatically shift but not smoothly or correctly. This machine has the selector knob for "Auto" or "ESP". We always have run it in auto. Now it will start out displaying D for drive but then switch to ESP even while the selector knob is in Auto. The two "dashes" above ESP, flash twice quickly, then a pause, a long flash, then two quick flashes again. Also, the little green light that indicates 4 wheel drive is flashing 3 times (I currently have the front drive shaft out for some repair) Any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
