I recently replaced the rear shock on my '04 Rancher ES, but after fitting a cargo rack on the back it's sagging a bit more than I'd like. Then you add add work gear occasionally, and various 50 lbs. sacks on feed as needed, this sags a LOT. So I know I need to adjust the spring but my question is, will adjusting the length alone be sufficient? I'm afraid making it longer will allow less tension in the spring itself, thereby allowing it continue to sag. Or am I overthinking this?

Obviously when you put 300 lbs. deer corn on the back it's gonna sag, but I'd like to mitigate some of that if I could.

I'm open to and all suggestions, so any advice or recommendations y'all can throw my way are appreciated.

I wanted to come back and let everyone know what an outstanding job AKATV did repairing my meter board. I mean it looks so good I was honestly surprised it was mine. LOL

I've attached pics of the before and after so y'all can see what how good this thing looks.

What else does it need?  Lots of great upgrades available for the 350 Ranchers using parts from other Hondas.

That's pretty much it. I might replace some of the panels at some point so it has a newer look, but I just use it for deer hunting so it's all stock. And aside from the meter it's in really good shape for an 18-year old 4-wheeler.

@AKATV I'm not sure how this forum works just yet as I'm brand new, but I sent you a PM about this topic as well. Whatever you need to advise about getting it fixed up let me know and I'll get it to you ASAP.

Thanks for the add, guys. I've got a 2004 Honda Rancher that runs great but needs a little sprucing up. Frankly I'm hoping AKATV can help me out with my meter assembly since he seems to be the meter guru.
