  1. Anyone on here have a 250r motor with a led big bore kit I already ordered my billet block from Arlen  and was wondering how everyone likes there stuff I know they are expensive because he makes the best stuff since he’s been doing it since they were new

    I would suggest going over the normal stuff. Make sure it hasnt thrown a chain and cracked the cases. Always remove the case saver if the seller will allow. If not get in there with a flash light. I always do a compression test on any 2 stroke i look at. If the seller wont let you do that make 100% sure they havent started and warmed it up before you get there. Witness a cold start. I have legit turned and walked from a deal when the seller wouldnt do this. 250r's arent a problematic machine. But at its age anything could be worn out. Check carrier bearings and all the front end parts for excessive looseness. I would put the quad up on the back grab bar and look closely at the frame. 250r's almost every single one was raced at some point. Cracks and bent frames are common in racing.

    Yea that’s what I figured common ! luckily I’m meeting him and he has to come home from work for lunch so I’m gonna leave a little early grab lunch and wait in his driveway eat lunch till he shows up so I definitely will get a cold start

    Well they do make ever single part for it still due to it being so popular in racing back in the day so I’m not worried I just don’t know if they have any issues like the tri z’s burning out 3rd gear all the time you know common !

    Yea it’s only got a 15 amp fuse in the front fuse box for it your not going to put to much on it anyway a light radio or some kind of charger is all it would be rated for you ain’t running a Hot plate it’s just a different shape cigarette lighter. Think of it like apple changing there charging port si you have to buy Honda stuff 


  5. My name is James and I like to party I live in Indian land South Carolina and have a bunch of stuff but the one that runs right now is my 1985 big blue about to buy some stump guards  and put them on and wire some ! correctly on it but it is completely mint otherwise.

Ok I never knew you had to pull the handle and push button for revers what dose it do just lock out reverse until you do it so you don’t accidentally shift into reverse because mine goes into reverse without doing that is is going to hurt anything. I can’t remember if any of mine actually worked this way and they didn’t break but I just got my big blue and I want to keep riding it from what I can tell it just looks like a plug on the end that goes into trans idk I know there’s people on here smarter than me that’s why I asked
