The valve came right tight to the rocker , even after I backed the screw out all the way , it was 100% on TDC on compression stroke, and the push rods should be even when on TDC, the push road behind the exhaust valve was higher than the one behind the intake valve -

Found the issue !!!!! out of time , when I put the engine to top dead centre , the exhaust valve was a little open and the push road weren’t even , they should be even from my understanding -

And is the T, F and two lines what your referring to as the index lines ? Hard instructions to wrap my head around lol -

Battery was at full charge and throttle was wide open , when I have the plug out , and roll the engine by the pull start, I look in the hole and get it to the T, there is also an F there and two other lines that are close together. when I put it to the T the piston is all the way to the top, but my exhaust valve doesn’t seem like it always wants to move. I set my intake valve to .006, I followed what shadtree sent about finding the compression stroke , and to my understanding I was at compression stroke. maybe the engine is not in time ? But I’m almost certain I was checking that right -

I agree ! But so far I haven’t been able to get bike running , lots of great tips and advice , but the thing has air, fuel, spark , I’ve changed everything. Set the valves and the motors in time . I don’t understand why it won’t start. -

Just wanted to say thanks for all the helps guys , it’s going to a shop, compression is to low , has to be something more internal. thanks again -

Any suggestions for cleaning valves without removing the cylinder head ? and there’s nothing in the exhaust system :(, I wish it was that easy lol -

Okay, so reset the valves And engine was on compression strike TDC, I have tried 3 different spark plugs ? Could voltage regulator be the issue maybe ?? just a thought will roll over all day long just won’t start!! -

I think I was on compression stroke, I just put cover back on , both valves set to .006, putting back together and gunna try to start it up, exhaust valve was tight , couldn’t fit anything in there -

Yes I held throttle wide open and has new spark plug , ask just checked timing , it’s showing the T mark in the centre of the hole and the piston is at top, so it’s in time , gunna check the valves now -

Hahahahahaha , made my day lol. but I can’t see why it would be compression or timing if it was running fine prior to changing the carb 😞 -

Soooooo guys , I have tried the old carb , a brand new carb from amazon, and the carb off my other foreman which I know works . Still won’t start !!! Poured gas down the spark plug hole , tried another brand new spark plug , still a no go. Pulled gas line off carb and plenty of fuel flow , don’t hear any engine knocks , motor is rolling over fast and spark plug is bone dry . Oil temp sensor underneath the bike the plug is off of it, would this stop it from starting ??? has spark still , good compression, I’m lost lol, it is getting everything it needs, If it was running before the carb replacement , it should run now, but it won’t. cant see why it would jump time or bend a valve or valves would need adjusting if it was running prior. any more ideas ? -

Haha surely noted lol. put gas in the spark plug hole, still all it will do is roll over , I’ve never had this problem before , got me baffled , I can’t see it being the valves , like I said it was running before I changed carbs -

And I agree everything does have its breaking point , just seems kind of ironic it happens at that time lol, I’ll take the top off and peak at the valves , I’m sure they are fine , and the bike shouldn’t have jumped time or anything either -

I have done almost all of those thing except put starting fluid in the carb. It has spark , new gas, gas filter, gas is on, kill switch in the middle , air filter is clean, new spark plug , I put it in a battery charger because after rolling it over the battery died , I rolled it over again and it is cranking pretty fast , I’m going to try to boil the carb in lemon juice today just to make sure in case I missed any dirt , boil it in lemon juice and water ? Or straight lemon juice? -

I did take out the jets on the original carb and cleaned the float bowl , maybe I’ll try boiling in lemon juice tomorrow just in case . Thank you very much for all your help and advice , if I can figure out the problem I will keep you updated ! -

Hmmm if I find out it’s a fuel delivery problem it’s still confusing to me that it was running before a I put the new carb on. And when I put the old carb back on it should’ve fired right back up but it didn’t. I don’t understand how a fuel delivery problem occurred from switching carbs -

So if I pour enough in the spark plug hole , will the bike actually run and stay running or just temporarily, if I put to much could it harm the engine aswell ? -

I suppose I could try a little more , that’s always an option
