  1. Thanks, got big help today with bleeding the brakes!
  2. Shadetree, I thank you for my sanity. I was trying valiantly but fruitlessly to bleed my brakes but to no avail, until I used your vise grip approach. Worked instantly and made me wish I had read this post far in advance of my 2 hours of failure. Thank you again.
  3. Have this 2002 450 FE I am restoring with a sun bleached screen, see pics, I think it is very reparable. What is your expert opinion? Some of the work pics I have seen of yours are very impressive. Thanks in advance! Can’t see anything on the screen without the lights on but it is kind of readable with lights on in a dark garage.
  4. Thanks, looking forward to making this machine operable again.
  5. New to the forum. Was gifted a non running rough shape 02 450FE. Never wrecked or anything, just neglected for about 7 years. In the process of reworking it to use on my farm. It will start but can’t keep itself running. Pulled the carb out and replacing it along with all fluid changes, new plastic parts, gas tank drain and flush along with petcock repair of the in tank filter. New tires are on the way along with new seat. Anywho, that’s probably more info than necessary for new member introduction.
