Ok... Changed out the CDI and the 4x4 quit flashing and 4x4 now works.... the limp mode is still engaged... stalls on rev and locked in first or second gear.... the dash now blinks on the esp/D1/D2 (it resets itself then blinks 6 times)

The D1/D2 blinking 11 times and the 4x4 blinking 5 times stops when I unplug the ECU.... but guess it would.

It could be.... revs up fine until you put it in gear. I will go through it again... the problem with the original frame was rust due to using granulated fertilizer spreader... rack and back end completely fell apart..... the difference is the powered steering is not connected but has not wiring harness for the power steering with the 07 harness. I have checked fuses but will check again.... the 4 wheel drive blinking 5 times says the actuator on front housing. Never had that issue before.... I ordered a new ECU comes in Thurs.... will update anything I find until then. I cant find anything not grounded. Clean as a new one currently and the entire front covers are off. So its easy to see. Thanks.

We did swap the wiring harness... I ordered a new ECU today.... Found where 2 people changed there’s and fixed the issue...

Took all the connectors I can find and cleaned with acid and dielectric grease.... cranks fine and revs up fine just goes into this mode .... will not shift into 4x4 either...

Thanks... this has been a great bike... the motor has never missed a lick... but changed it out to a 2009 frame and this issued started right off the bat.... just saw wire was off on the front of the motor... looks like the oil sensor .... fixed it and still no resolve... did notice we do not have the brake switches connect to the wire harness on the handle bars on both sides... other wise its all there...

Have an 07 rubicon 4x4 automatic.... Dash blinks D1/D2 11 times and the 4x4 light blinks 5 times.... will not get out of 1st gear and limps in Reverse.... I changed the shift motor and the shift angle sensor..... cant get the system to reset...
