floyd7925 0 Posted October 7 @AKATV I would like to get in touch with you about my 01' trx500fa combo meter display. Battery went dead and the display started acting up with the new battery. AKATV 851 Posted October 8 Sounds to me like you might have other issues. Have you unplugged the circuit card at the speedometer by any chance? it is possible to put one of the plugs in upside down that will give that same effect You should not be getting any power to the brown/black wire that powers up the speedometer with the key in the off position I would check your speedometer plug down below, to make sure you don’t have any corroded or burned pens,as well as remove the top cover to make sure you don’t have any water damage damages underneath on the circuit card Let me know what you find out.
