    • Sounds fine to me. Looks like you made plenty of people happy here.
    • If you’d like to send me just the internal circuit card, I can put it through its paces and tell you what it needs There’s no cost for diagnosis other than postage, which would be $10.40 for just a circuit -AKATV
    • @ATC4ever ever watch chasers ? How did she (character Toni Johnson) disable the transport van ?
    • Found you through Google lol. This is what I'm working with, I picked up a trx500fa2 about a month ago. I have no idea about the condition of the screen as it didn't work when I got it only the back light i had to wet sand and clean the cover just so i could see that the display didn't work lol. This has been a project for my kids it felt only right as I grewup on a ATC they should have something to remember themselves. I took the board out a week ago to give a visual inspection and besides a small spot of rust on a I believe a capacitor I think it's not damaged but alot of unknowns as this is a new to me atv. Screen looks great Backlight works Neutral and reverse light works but the oil light doesn't. I was gonna replace the cover if it worked but it didn't so I didn't want to waste the money if I was gonna but a whole replacement then realized there are none lol
    • I will do that for sure. Haven't looked at the details yet in service manual but I think to split the case & remove the internal transmission parts like shift drum, etc I gotta remove front/rear covers as well as remove the 2 front clutches anyway. Went ahead and got the quad stripped down so as soon as I have the time its ready to open up front cover and then likely remove the engine. Will take up less space stripped down anyway so I have room to work on the other quads in the meantime. Figured I would post the 1st couple pics tho of it mostly stripped down. If it comes down too pulling the engine which seems likely, might as well do some prep work and paint the frame in some areas it is starting to rust and at least stop the deterioration from getting worse. Thank goodness I got this thing cheap!
