Great info. I will just bite the bullet. I guess after 22 years I should spend a little bit on it. LOL I just sent my display board to AKATV for the repair. I put on new brakes. Does anybody know the difference between the dash cover between a 2001 450es and a 450s. The part numbers are different but the parts diagram looks exact and any pictures I can find they look the same. It's just a cover over the electronics. Are they really different? The price difference is substantial. I am having my dash fixed and the cover is cracked but a new cover specific to that year is $160 or more. Crazy.
