1960’s Start

Got my first Honda 100 street bike in 69…. Have ridden and worked on all makes and models over the years. I once owned a repair shop that not only did Honda’s but all other makes and models. Now days I’m retired but still do some work. ]ust a little slower than before. I just rebuilt a 350 rancher and am almost finished with it. I rode it for the first time today and the fan did not kick on. Head temp was about 250 when I shut it down. Haven’t started on diagnosing this problem yet. Any suggestions ……..?? The meter is clouded over so I can’t see anything. ONLY the neutral light comes on, no reverse or oil light…..
