  1. I was working on a Rubi recently, replacing ball joints, control arm bushings, wheel bearings and the such. Going back to together with the upper control arm and noticed the bolt hole in the rear frame mount was badly worn on one side. The single hole had worn to approximately a hole and a half. The wheel has a pretty good lean to the outside and I suspect that’s why. May check your frame mount and see if there is considerable wear.

    JeepWM69 and AKATV what do you think? I sanded it down with 2000 grit, saw the ink blot and let the wind fall from my sails lol

    Shadtree, my first post here on this forum. I was following the thread about the rubicon meters and stumbled on to your comment about possibly having one! If Len chooses to have his salvage one fixed, I will be interested in the one you have in storage. My rubicon has the “ink blot” on the LCD screen and I am afraid that means non-repairable. PS I’m just up the road from you in Newport, Arkansas.
