@damB 1 Posted April 12, 2021 Hey Folks! New to the forum - and it's already been super helpful! Took my new to me 2001 Foreman out on the trails and everything was great.... except for it randomly shutting off on occasion... I thought it was a fuel problem possibly but then I noticed that every time it was starting to stall I'd look down and see the screen was blank on my display. The machine wasn't bogging out fuel wise when the stall happened either although the stall always happened on a hill climb or through a mud/water bog where the machine was having to work a bit harder. Not sure if this is normal but if the machine shut off in '0' position, I would turn it to 'I' position and the screen would light up again and be ready to run - and vica versa... Help! Thoughts? jeepwm69 7,749 Posted April 12, 2021 I'd pull fuses, clean the contacts well in the fuse box, and then reinstall fuses first. Sounds like a loose or intermittent connection. Make sure your battery terminals and cables are clean and tight too.
