Will 3 Posted June 13, 2021 I was riding my 2007 Honda foreman 500 foot shift and It won’t shift past 1st I can shift down to reverse. The foot pedal moves freely but it won’t grab the next gear. I took the front cover off and it started shifting again. When I put the cover back on it only had 1st again. Thanks advance or recommendations. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
retro 4,074 Posted June 13, 2021 Maybe the ratchet cam bolt on the end of the shift drum loosened up? Or the short spring fell off of the cam plate? If the bolt loosened up check that the drive pin in the end of the shift drum have not fallen out. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
