RoscoeP 0 Posted September 29, 2021 I have encountered a non running/starting 98 450S it has spark, appears to be correct in valve adjustment, rebuilt original carb and tried a new carb, changed voltage regulator still not getting engine to take fuel and fire unless I put a combustionable fluid in plug hole. Plug comes out dry when fluid is sprayed in carb and no combustion as well. When choke is applied black oily fuel shoots out rear of carb like its coming from exhaust.
