Hooks501 0 Posted February 11, 2023 Hello all, I’m working on a 2008 TRX 500FA with no spark. I tried retrieving fault codes from the process outlined in the FSM, however it will not work. The display has the green neutral light on but not the “N”, just has the hyphen and below that is shows ESP D1D2. I have a good reading from the pulse generator to the ecu (checked with peak voltage adapter) but nothing coming out of ecu to coil. The ecu gets very hot to the touch with the key on (not even cranking). Possible ecu or is the ignition locked out for some reason? Has anyone seen this? Thanks for any help on this matter.
