Dillan thomas 0 Posted June 21 I picked up a 2002 honda 450 es today for 300$ from an old guy . Was told bike had no spark and needed new "cdi" box that he was riding it one day doing yard work and it made a pop noise from front of the bike and died . Got it to the house tore it apart and realized the "computer " was apart I send him a message and he said yea replace that and I was like that not cdi that's the computer make long story short I will attach picture of how the computer looks to my profile I guess idk I'm new and can't figure out how to post a pic with this topic thing . Atv has neutral light and will spin over and has power but no spark and won't shift . I know it has no power to the ignition coil I test with test light . Would the computer ecm I think what's it's called cause the bike to have power but won't shift or no spark. ? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
shadetree 5,951 Posted June 21 yes, that model has a c.d..i. and a control ecu unit. you will need one or both of them in order for it to fire, and shift. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
