    • I have a 2000 Honda foreman 450s 4w4. When I start it up with the choke on its fine but when I take it off it will idle then make clunking noise like the piston is slapping the jug when goes up then it will act like it's going to die. Sometimes it will and when it does my battery doesn't have enough power to turn the 4wheeler back over. I just got a battery tender fix that problem. Can anyone tell me what is going on please.
    • that political stuff was supposed to remain on one thread, but like poison ive does, it spread. Oh! Well! welcome back Mister Clean..
    • ah yes, preloading that sensor is something I often overlook when trying to help out with these.  The Rubicons are different animals but I’m trying to learn!
    • Double check that the angle sensor was installed correctly, a common problem. There's a lot of helpful help around here, hope you get it figured!
    • When your manually shifting it, when you push or pull the lever the internal spring should try to put the shaft back into the neutral state. With the shift reductions gears installed it will give drag on that, the reason I said to do it when they was out. If it "springs" back, that pin will be good. If it doesn't, you found a problem and time to tear into it.
