I'd like to see the calculations on that set up.  I think they would be a little short on the math.

Not associated with that incident in any way. Was impressed with the charmed life that Honda was living...

I guess, looking at it, the propane tank is holding it up.  But,at that angle the water would have sloshed out of it maybe allowing what's left of the structure to stop any further fall.  I'd have to inspect further to see, but it does look like it.  I'm still impressed by the engineering genius of it. 

That has got to be a heavy box and that flimsy balcony was probably meant to hold two small people at most.   A couple lag screws screwed into the floor joist.
