    Use the green wire on the harness for ground Supply 12 V to the brown/black wire and it should power up The red/black wire is your constant power to hold up your time Some models require power to both to power up the CPU properly You can also supply 12 V to the brown wire and that will illuminate your backlight -AKATV

    If you’re getting zero display, then it’s not just your EEPROM that needs to be reprogrammed as that only affects your mileage and your hours It sounds like you might have a failed component on your board that is causing a power issue For simple EEPROM programming there are many tutorials on YouTube, but I do not think that is your issue right now. It sounds more like your CPU is not powering up or is possibly corrupted? -AKATV
