Is try here for a lift https://www.facebook.com/The300Shop/

Jean - Clay seems to have a good reputation, always busy.

Alternatively, why not make the lift yourself, it's a daunting task but simple enough 🙂 Your more than capable fish 🙂

Your 450 definitely needs a 4 to 6 inch lift with that stretch though, looks like a drag bike with no lift lol

  2. So... Forget the CDi for a moment, keep it simple...

Have you grounded Neutral sensor and oil temp sensor? Read retros post again 🙂

Also, from memory I'm pretty sure the neutral sensor and oil sensor are the same ( I could be wrong), try switching them around.

It would be nice to see something around the same size as the old 300's or even 350 Rancher size or 420 size. The old 420AT's were pretty close to being perfect they just needed lower gears, better shocks and a locker. But size wise they were spot on and had plenty of HP.

If they ran 28's stock with the same gearing and HP I'm sure sales would increase dramatically.

  4. Yep, your spot on mrbb 🙂 These Honda's still rock, the only place the high HP ATV's score is in bottomless holes where they have the power to skim the surface.

As we all know to well though, big HP costs money at some point or another!!

  5. At my local off-road park I pulled up next to a Polaris in a peanut butter bottomed lake, he was stuck big time. I stopped next to him and asked if he was good, he refused a pull out... In my mind I was praying to God I'd be able to pull away, luckily my old 300 served me well, WOT in 2nd gear and I was out haha.. The guy never spoke to me again and I had seem him numerous times since that haha..

    Honda power 🙂

  6. 04 Foreman 450S, fully rebuilt..

2" lift, 28" mega mayhem's on ITP steel wheels. Foreman 500 front disc brake mod. 512 progressive shocks all round.

A great bike however... I've sold it!!

I'm now looking to upgrade to a newer Honda (foreman) or a Yamaha 700 in blue.. You'll all hate me for the change to Yamaha but the main reason is for am automatic transmission, we all know Honda automatic sucks lol..

I am discovering that the third row in the wife’s GX460 isn’t meant for adults. 7.5 hours so far. My knees are killing me!

Wife gets carsick back here, and her aunt and dad are too old to get back here so that leaves me.

    I need a DRANK

Not long now buddy, hang in there..!! I bet your hangover will be worse than the knee pains your now experiencing haha

Just waiting on my crank getting back from crankworks. Getting balanced and trued.

Exciting times ahead, I look forward to the build thread SR. More so, I look forward to the carb tuning part of the thread. You (and retro) helped me out in the past with carb issues and nailed it without even seeing/hearing the ATV in question.. It's something I'm still very keen to gain knowledge of.
