The service manual is your best resource while refreshing a carb. Follow the disassembly/assembly steps and setup instructions word for word 'til ya reach the end of the chapter. There are photos showing all of the parts locations and the order they must be assembled. Also, 95 octane fuel will not effect the jetting or the way the motor runs. Octane is a rating for fuel stability, aka resistance to detonation. Keep us in the loop as you work on that carb if ya can.

I can't get the link to the manual for a 93 2WD 300, I use a phone with unlimited data. No internet at my mom's as of last week.

I’m sure someone may have a few photos. Just take ur time & clean everything spotless. Compressed air will be your friend. If u have any issues lots of us including me can help u out.

Would sonoco optima 95 octane be ok to run on stock jets? That's all that's in my area for Non Ethanol without 93 octane marina fuel.  Thanks man.

Well it would appear you dont need a 19mm but just for anyones information. The craftsman kit i have goes to 18mm. I have to admit i was wondering why the utility quads would have such a big plug lol. The sport quads all use 12mm or 14mm never seen a quad with a 19mm plug.

I was wrong after I looked it up and it's 12 like you said lol.

    The 300 use a D series spark plug that's 12mm.

So any 12mm adapter will work? Maybe you can answer this, I'm wondering why the engine has to be warmed up for a test, is it cause of the decompression release? I thought cold or not run in a week would be good to do a test.

My kit is a craftsman. Got it when our sears store closed a few years ago. I can check to see if it has a 19mm adapter in the kit when i get home. Im pretty sure they are like 60-70 bucks new.

Thank ya bud, could ya answer me this, is it because of can decompressor that the engine has to warmed up for a test? I thought if it's cold that's better cause a true reading. Thanks

well I'll add this, just due to I am still not happy LOL

I USED to use Schumacher tenders' and well, battery chargers

till like 2 yrs ago, I went and bought  some new tenders, BRAND NEW one's

hooked one up to a skid steer I had and the tender went nuts and over charged my system, ruined battery and a whole bunch of electrical parts on machine, costing me a LOT of money to repair

things fail I get it, BUT< when I contacted  Schumacher, they were nice and understanding and CLAIMED they would stand by there product and help with repair costs due to tender was under warranty and  all, they started a claim for me, and then, STOPPED responding to calls and emails and just plain refused to ever get back to em after they opened the claim and SAID they would help

been 2 yrs now and not a single reply to any reach outs from me,  and even if I use a different email address or phone number, once they know its me, they  stop talking!

SO< this being said, I will never use any of there products again! there customer service was filled with nothing but liar's! apparently and they DON"T stand behind there products at all IMO or experience!

I am now using Battery tender plus maintainers and so far all seem to be doing what they were made to do problem free!

Yea I had a SEM1562A and hated it. I'll go for battery tender plus.

  7. Thanks guys. Say anybody know why M1 changed their bottle design. On an old one I have where the 4T is it's red the new one is silver looking. ( I don't have a new one to show). I'd say it's the same stuff. Found another photo similar.
