Merry Christmas to All...Christmas lights on an old ship off the Oregon Coast

We mostly are meat hunters in Alaska, the game is wild, there is no feeding or attracting, except for bears. I don’t bait Bears.
We have Caribou and Moose around in pretty good numbers, it is all fair chase. The only trophy type hunting we do is the white Dall Sheep, they are high in the mountains. The sheep meat is probably the best wild game meat we have. The weather can make sheep hunting a real challenge. There are very few roads, so boats, planes, ATVs and snowmachines are how we get out to hunting ares.

Thanks Retro, it is a big deal to have the sun coming back, when the Winter Solstice happens, we have 3hrs 40min of sunlight. The Solstice was yesterday on the 21st, today we have 3hrs 41min of sunlight! By the end of March we’ll be gaining 6-7min a day of sunlight.

Up North everything is growing better! We are on the positive gain for sunlight and life is good! Now if we can make it through the next six weeks, we will actually start feeling the sun about the middle of February 😎

Just flew in last night, took two days to make connections at SeaTac. Bad WX & power outages are making traveling a real joy.
I live up in the hills NE of Fairbanks, it is only -18F up here! We are now gaining sunlight again, Yahoo...

Thanks Folks, looks like the members tab marks the location of the computer, since I’m down in N Idaho skiing now, I’ll have to wait until I get home.

Wandered over here from the somewhat discomboomerated new site. Nice to see all the usual suspects over here. Been working more on Honda Snowblowers than 4wheelers, but, did manage to get the Foreman’s plow on and functioning.
