jj1999 1 Posted September 10, 2021 The issue I'm having is when I turn the key ignition to the ON position, the Battery voltage drops to zero ( multimeter is on batt). All fuses are good. Please Help. Thank you in advance.
jeepwm69 7,749 Posted September 10, 2021 Sounds like a bad battery to me. Are you sure you have a good connection from meter to terminals? If so, you have a dead short somewhere. Going to have to pull the fenders off and look for rodent damage
jj1999 1 Posted September 11, 2021 I did have a bad battery, thank you. But now when I turn ON the ignition key is blowing the 10A fuse. I'll check for any damage wires if you have any other suggestions where or what to look, let me know. Thanks
Fishfiles 20,147 Posted September 11, 2021 Welcome to the forum , JJ1999 , first thing comes to mind is a bad ground connection at the crankcase , if the battery is truly 12 volts hot -----
