Fishfiles 17,036 Posted February 23, 2022 @Misterclean, got a buddy with a Honda GC190 which I never worked on before , he stopped by today and it wouldn't start , the pull rope was jammed hard , first thought was hydro-locked from a fuel overflow , that was not it , found the cylinder was dry , found that engine has a timing belt , first small engine I ever ran across with a belt , play around with it and found the timing and moved the belt and got it started and running , he took it home and it ran a couple of minutes and appears to have jumped time again , the belt is lose and I can take it off and on with my finger easy , what all is involved with changing the timing belt
Misterclean 400 Posted February 25, 2022 Never changed one but I'm almost positive you split the case. It's a funny 45 degree sump.
