Russell 0 Posted February 23, 2022 (edited) all rebuild kits and or complete new axles I can find only go back to 1987, but is there really a difference, can I somehow modify an '87 to work on my 1986? The 86 sofar as i know have a different sized splines than following years. you might be able to rebuild them, but as you said would require specialized knowledge, bearing kits and tools.
